Quick cook penne

Quick cook penne

I tend not to have lots of different types on the go at any one time. It just leads to trouble when you’ve got half a packet left of two types that cook in different times. I usually buy quick cook penne (they really go with most sauces), spaghetti and no-soak (because life is too short) lasagne sheets.

In general, the shorter time the pasta takes to cook (check the back of the packet), the nicer it is to eat. This is also why pasta such as fresh tagliatelle cooks in a couple of minutes and tastes really yummy!
